“ I was in the area so I stopped for some pupusas. OMG!!! I live an hour away and was eating them in the car on the way home. They were incredible even without the curtido. I had ordered 2 extra for my mother in law and they were still hot when she got them. They do not skimp on ingredients. This pupusa place is highly recommended. They're almost as big as the plate, so cheesy, and so yummy. I'll definitely be back, despite the drive. ”
“ Early this afternoon, my power went out. I messaged my neighbor, "hey, I'm craving for pupusa. Where do you want to go?" He suggested La Pupusa Rica on South Gessner. I said sure. Here we are. The dining room is half full. Not sure what power outage has anything to do with eating pupusa. Or, just a Sunday's tradition for local families. We ordered fried yucca with chicharon and some pupusas con todo. It's easier to say than spell out locoro, frijoles and queso. Food came out pretty quickly. What surprised us was the appetizer came in 2 separate plates without extra charge. I'm not into fried food. But the fried yucca was tasty. Fried chicharon was too tough for me. I was expecting more fat than lean meat. Cortido was my favorite though. It tasted very clean and zesty. Pupusa was flavorful and I didn't need to use the sauce at all. Oh, forgot to mention. Horchata was smooth and right amount of sweetness. I want to come back for more. ”
“ Took all my 15 members of my family. the food was great we had to wait extra considering a big group ,but everyone was happy and satisfied with the great salvadorian food our waiter was nice ”
